4X Olympian Calls JAMBAR ‘Perfect Match’ for Her Worldwide Racing Schedule
SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (Nov. 5, 2026) — Organic energy bar maker JAMBAR today announced a sponsorship deal with downhill and super-G ski racer Jacqueline Wiles, becoming her official energy bar. Wiles has represented Team USA at four Olympics, most recently taking home a bronze medal at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan Cortina. She has been on four World Championship teams, podiumed at four World Cups, and holds two National Downhill titles.
As this year’s FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Tour kicks off, Wiles will enter her 15th year of competing internationally as a member of the US Ski Team. Her goal for the season? To build on last year’s success and strive for the podium in every race. Wiles’ racing schedule means that she spends more than half of each year living out of a suitcase. “I try to eat whole foods that are as close to nature as possible. It’s important to me to always have quality food nearby and JAMBAR helps fill that gap!” said Wiles. “I always have JAMBARS on the hill in my ski bag while training, my backpack while traveling, and in my suitcase or car anytime I hit the road.”
While the partnership is new, Wiles and JAMBAR’s sports heritage crossed paths when she was a child in Portland, where she began racing at Mt. Hood at the age of five. Wiles said that her mother always packed PowerBars® in her ski backpack. Jennifer Maxwell, the founder of JAMBAR, was a co-creator of the original energy bar, PowerBar. “I love having these full circle moments when athletes who relied on PowerBar when they were young are now fans of JAMBAR,” said Maxwell. “Jackie is an incredible skier, and widely admired for her resilience and down-to-earth attitude. She’s a great addition to Team JAMBAR and we couldn’t be happier to help fuel her journey.”
JAMBAR certified organic energy bars include vegan and gluten-free options and come in five flavors: Peanut Butter Malt Melody (which is Wiles’ favorite), Chocolate Cha Cha, Musical Mango, Tropical Trio and Jammin’ Jazzleberry. The bars are crafted in small batches in Marin County, California, using whole-food ingredients including gluten-free grains, berries, nuts and fair-trade chocolate. JAMBAR does not use artificial sweeteners, starch-derived sugar syrups or sugar alcohols. Full-sized 60-gram bars provide 10 grams of protein, while 28-gram JAMBAR Minis deliver five grams of protein in a snack-sized, 120-calorie bar.
JAMBAR Athletes and Partners
As the newest member of Team JAMBAR, Wiles joins athletes including Olympic Gold Medalist Jonny Moseley, pro running power couple Joe Klecker and Sage Hurta-Klecker, pro cyclist and Gravel Hall of Famer Ali Tetrick, pro freestyle skier Ryan McElmon and former Stroller Mile World Record Holder Neely Spence Gracey.
In addition to sponsoring hundreds of races and events across the country, JAMBAR is the official energy bar partner of Aspen Snowmass, and supplies organic energy bars across its resort complex. JAMBAR also was the official energy bar for the 2026 Subaru Winterfest tour, which brought music and community to five iconic POWDR resorts.
